The OPPO Reno5 is now officially available in the Kenyan market after being launched in late February.
Reno5 becomes the company’s latest Mid-range smartphone that succeeds the OPPO Reno4 which was launched last year. Reno5, which was in pre-order until March 1st after being launched by influencers online, has a few upgrades over its sibling.
It comes with a 6.43″ AMOLED display with 90HZ refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the 44MP selfie camera. The screen features Full HD+ display at a resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels with an aspect ratio of 20:9(409 ppi) and an 85.6% screen to body ratio.
The screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It’s powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor and Adreno 618 GPU and runs on Android 11 and ColorOS 11.1. OPPO Reno 5 has 44MP punch hole selfie camera. For the primary setup, we have a 64MP main rear camera, an 8MP ultrawide, 2MP depth and 2MP macro sensor. It’s however not a 5G.
OPPO Reno5 starts selling from Ksh 41,999.
