Xiaomi HyperOS 3 Update List: Eligible Devices, Features, and Release Timeline

Xiaomi HyperOS 3, Android 16 update, Xiaomi smartphones, Poco phones, Redmi updates

Xiaomi is expecting big changes with HyperOS 3, a major software update, to almost all their devices. Just to highlight, this upgrade is from the ground up and is based on Android 16, introducing a redesigned HyperIsland interface, more extensive AI usage, and improved synchronization with Apple products. The main goal of this company is to rival Apple by bringing up not only the seamless connection between the devices but also their speed, smoothness, and battery efficiency.

Still, there is an “X” over the board for the update as not all the Xiaomi devices are eligible. The list of devices has already been made public by the company, and it includes not only smartphones but also tablets and wearables that the new system will be installed on.

Rollout Timeline

This update will be Xiaomi 15 flagship series’ update first this month. After that, the next phase will have the Redmi Note 14, Poco F7, Poco X7, and Xiaomi Pad 7 lines. The upgrade is anticipated to have reached most of the eligible models by December 2025. People who have older Redmi or Poco devices might get their updates in early 2026, so they will need to wait.

Final Take

HyperOS 3 exceeds being just another Android skin. Xiaomi’s calculated shift to its proprietary all-inclusive ecosystem – where devices get connected and operate seamlessly – is what this basically means. Thus, the experience should be quicker, more intelligent, and more integrated for users of newer models. In contrast, those who are still on the old Redmi or Poco phones may not get an update anytime soon.
