Vivo has announced that the new X300 series, its next flagship line, will be launched in China on October 13. The company, ahead of the launch, has already given the ground-breaking specifications, the design, and the colors in which the phone will be available, but it also hinted that there are still more surprises yet to be revealed.
The main feature of the series is the support for the Zeiss 2.35x Telephoto Teleconverter, a new exclusive gadget that was first introduced with the X200 Ultra. In simple terms, this is a supplementary lens which is meant for the improvement of zoom function drastically. To be more precise, the characteristics of each of the models are going to be different: the X300 will have a silver edition while the X300 Pro a black one.
It goes without saying that with the attachment of the converter these mobile phones will be able to take close-up pictures, portraits, and high-speed images without losing quality. The camera installed is quite remarkable in itself too:
- Vivo X300: 200-megapixel primary sensor
- Vivo X300 Pro: 200-megapixel APO periscope lens
Both units will operate on MediaTek’s newest Dimensity 9500 chipset, a top-of-the-line processor for 2025. Although the launch in China is planned for October, the global release is anticipated very soon afterwards, so the X300 series will be accessible in the rest of the world apart from the Chinese market, more or less.
