Vivo’s upcoming X300 and X300 Pro are expected to be the first smartphones in the world to feature MediaTek’s new flagship chip, the Dimensity 9500. The processor is set to be unveiled on September 22 in China, and according to recent leaks, the phones themselves could debut before the month ends.
Both devices have already passed radio certification in China. The documents list the models as V2502A and V2502DA. According to Digital Chat Station, the first refers to the standard Vivo X300, while the second is a variant equipped with Beidou satellite short message support.
Vivo is also preparing other models for release. Two more devices, V2509A and V2505A, have secured radio certification. The V2509A remains a mystery, but rumors suggest that the V2505A is the upcoming iQOO 15. Both the X300 and iQOO 15 will now undergo the remaining Chinese regulatory processes, including 3C and TENAA approval.
If the timeline holds, the Vivo X300 will be revealed by the end of September, while the iQOO 15—powered by the future Snapdragon 8 Elite 2—is expected to arrive in October.
One question still lingers: will the X300 series include a Pro Mini model, as it did last year? Reports hint at a reduced display size of 6.3 inches, mirroring the design approach of the X200 Pro Mini. In addition, both the X300 series and iQOO 15 lineup are likely to receive Ultra versions, though their launch is anticipated in the first half of 2026.
