OPPO is steadily building anticipation for its next flagship lineup, the Find X9 series. Zhou Yibao, head of the Find product line, has been at the center of the campaign, offering a series of teasers about the devices’ design and performance upgrades.
After confirming the thickness of the standard model earlier in the day, Zhou shifted attention to the Find X9 Pro. According to him, the Pro version maintains the slim 8.25mm profile of its predecessor yet introduces a significant leap in battery capacity. The new model carries more than 1,500mAh above the Find X8 Pro, pushing its total past 7,410mAh—an impressive achievement considering its unchanged thin frame.
For comparison, last year’s Find X8 Pro measured 8.24mm and housed a 5,910mAh battery. Zhou described the upgrade as “very satisfying,” hinting at an improved user experience while encouraging fans to guess the precise specifications.
The standard Find X9 also receives a boost. At around 7.9mm thick, it includes a battery that is more than 1,000mAh larger than the previous generation. This places its capacity well above 6,630mAh, compared to the Find X8’s 5,630mAh.
Zhou noted that the enhanced efficiency has been so effective that he no longer needs to carry a power bank. With these gains in battery life and design, the Find X9 series is shaping up to be one of OPPO’s strongest flagship contenders yet.
