Huawei has once again proven its dominance in mobile photography. The Pura 80 Ultra has officially claimed the top spot in DXOMARK’s rankings, outperforming flagship rivals such as the OPPO Find X8 Ultra and Vivo X200 Ultra.
The results speak for themselves: an overall score of 175 points, with record-breaking marks in photography (180) and video (166). In every scenario — from portraits to challenging low-light scenes — the Pura 80 Ultra delivered exceptional performance.

DXOMARK highlighted the following strengths:
- Vivid yet balanced colors, sharp details, and natural exposure under all lighting conditions.
- High-quality portraits with pleasing skin tones and smooth, natural bokeh.
- Powerful ultra-wide and telephoto lenses offering impressive detail.
- Smooth, stable, shake-free video even while in motion.
The only drawback noted was slight shifts in color and brightness under complex lighting. However, this is minor compared to the progress made over last year’s Pura 70 Ultra, especially in video clarity.
The real standout is the blend of cutting-edge hardware and intelligent software. The 1-inch sensor with LOFIC technology prevents overexposure, reduces noise, and minimizes motion artifacts. Most notably, its zoom performance is unmatched — delivering crisp details and consistent colors even at extreme magnifications.
Huawei Pura 80 Ultra Camera Specifications:
