With the announcement of MagicOS 10, Honor didn’t just unveil a typical software update, but it took a major stride in changing the whole Android experience.
MagicOS 10 on the surface is still Android 16 based, but only the bare minimum of Google’s system is left. To put it simply, Honor has overhauled practically everything from the framework to the user interface. The innovative MCP design from the company, AI that can do more than before, and the great feeling you get when devices work together without interruptions are some of the features of a smarter and more connected ecosystem that is the reason why Honor’s devices are now closer to one another than ever before.
MagicOS 10 Rollout Schedule
Honor has a well-thought and rapid plan of execution for the rollout, which is starting in October 2025. The update will be first available for the company’s flagship smartphones, and in a sequence of phases planned till the spring of 2026, other models will be updated.

They can also do it on their own if they go to Settings → Software Update from where the update can be downloaded. Otherwise, a notification for the update will appear automatically whenever it is available.
