With just two weeks left until the official unveiling of the Google Pixel 10, the tech giant has released a teaser video titled “Google Pixel 10 | Soon”. The short clip not only highlights the upcoming device but also takes a jab at Apple, which has yet to deliver on its promise of launching an AI-powered version of Siri for the iPhone 16.
The 30-second teaser is set to an instrumental version of “The Next Episode” by Dr. Dre a subtle nod to the Beats by Dr. Dre brand, now owned by Google. In the video, the Pixel 10 Pro is shown in a sleek Moonstone finish.
A voiceover delivers a pointed message:
“If you’re buying a new phone for a feature that’s coming ‘soon’… and it still hasn’t arrived after a year… maybe it’s time to rethink what ‘soon’ means or just get a different phone.”
The remark clearly references Apple’s stalled rollout of its AI-enhanced Siri. First announced at WWDC 2024, the new Siri was expected to be available on the iPhone 16 lineup by September. However, nearly a year has passed with no release in sight. Earlier this year, Apple officially postponed the launch to 2025.

The teaser concludes with the tagline “Demand more from your smartphone.” It’s likely Google will adopt this as the central theme for its Pixel 10 marketing campaign. The final frame shows a hand holding a Pixel device, the launch date August 20 and Google’s signature gradient “G” logo.
