OPPO’s Find X series has long been known for its daring hardware and advanced imaging technology. The upcoming Find X9 Pro, according to recent leaks, appears set to push that reputation even further, positioning itself as one of the most ambitious flagships of 2025.
The standout change lies in the telephoto system. OPPO is reportedly abandoning the dual 50MP configuration of the previous model in favor of Samsung’s powerful 200MP ISOCELL HP5 sensor. Paired with optical image stabilization, 3x optical zoom, and a sizable 1/1.56-inch sensor, this upgrade is expected to deliver sharper details and improved stability for long-distance photography.
The main camera also sees a significant improvement. It is said to feature Sony’s 50MP LYT-828 sensor with a 1/1.28-inch size and a wider f/1.8 aperture. Sony notes that the sensor offers an 18% increase in surface area over the prior generation, which could translate to stronger low-light performance. On the ultra-wide side, a 50MP Samsung JN5 sensor adds autofocus and super macro functionality, while an additional 2MP unit—believed to be a multi-spectral color sensor—may help fine-tune color accuracy.
Front-facing photography also receives a notable step up. The Find X9 Pro is rumored to swap the 32MP Sony IMX615 for a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensor with autofocus, promising sharper, more consistent results in different lighting conditions.
Beyond its camera capabilities, OPPO appears to be targeting everyday usability with a large 7,500mAh battery. Charging speeds are expected to reach 80W over wired connections and 50W wirelessly. Other leaked specifications include an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi 7 support, NFC, customizable multifunction buttons, and ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
If these details prove accurate, the Find X9 Pro will not only continue the Find X series’ tradition of innovation but may also redefine the boundaries of mobile photography and flagship design.
